The Knight's Marshal oversees the chivalric (heavy) fighting aspects of the Society at the local level and makes sure tournaments and practices are run according to SCA policy

They are responsible for:

• Keeping a list of Authorized Fighters in our Shire

• Reporting to the Kingdom Earl Marshal's office

• Authorizing Fighters

• Reporting to the populace

The Deputy Knight's Marshal will take over the Knight's Marshal's duties if he/she is otherwise indisposed. They help the Knight's Marshal dispense their duties.
